  50's Roadhouse Cafe - 50's style home-cooking restaurant offers authentic, friendly, & the food has great portions, great quality & very good value. Fabulous burgers, breakfast on weekends, and nice dinner menu, too. Apparently well known to bike clubs, they can handle large groups, but it's good to call ahead, since it's a medium size place. Excellent Buena Vista (kitchen sink) burger for $8.45 & a real milkshake ($4.50) - it's a REAL milkshake! This is a gem of a place!

  Knights Ferry - Knights Ferry is a left-over from the CA gold rush. With a span of 360ft it is the longest covered wood bridge west of the Mississippi and one of only 10 remaining (authentic) covered bridges in California.
